In October 2022, PHEW received a positive Care Inspection Report which acknowledges the improvements made in the service. The report highlights the efforts and commitment of all the staff team. 

About the Inspection

This was an unannounced inspection which took place on 5, 6 and 7 October. The inspection was carried out by one inspector from the Care Inspectorate. To prepare for the inspection the care inspector reviewed information about our service. This included previous inspection findings, registration information, information submitted by the service and intelligence gathered since the last inspection. In making the evaluation of the service the care inspector:

• spoke with three people using the service

• two relatives

• spoke with eight staff and management

• observed practice and daily life

• reviewed documents.
